South Brent is a Dartmoor village that sits on the River Avon in the south of the National Park and prospered as a woollen centre. A tour of the church unravels mysteries, complete with a produce shop where items are made by Nuns and Monks from all over the world and a Book Shop that tempts you to linger longer than you should. Venture to the rear of the shop and intriguing exhibits tell of times long past.
