Colyford
Colyford is a medium sized village around half a mile from the small town of Colyton and sits on the main A3052 with the Seaton to Colyton tramline running through the village. There is a strong sense of community here with many events run by the local residents staged during the year. The village sits between Sidmouth and Lyme Regis with the Jurassic coast nearby. Sidmouth is a beautiful Victorian seaside town with a range of fantastic restaurants and independent shops as well as a great beach, it is extremely well presented and is well known for its quality ice cream parlours and Cornish pasty shops.
Seaton is just one and a half miles to the south and sits on the coast with a mile long beach that is ideal for swimming and paddle boarding. The town has many attractions, taking advantage of its position as the start of the Jurassic coast, there is a Jurassic themed adventure golf course and adventure play park. The area around Seaton is beautiful with the South West Coastal Path to explore and Seaton Wetlands with a plethora of stunning wildlife.
